“Keep your hands off of Me!”- God.

A man named Uzza thought he was helping God out but instead was struck down.

(2 Samuel 6:1-11)  King David decided to bring the Ark of God back to Israel. God specifically gave orders for no one to touch it. When one of the ox stumbled, Uzza reached out to brace the Ark, touched it and God struck him down dead.

Now that we have God living in us through faith in His son, it’s impossible to walk on eggshells around Him as if we could accidentally bump into Him and we’re dead. I believe God is saying that no matter what it looks like, keep your hands off the situation and let Me do my thing. This is not a pass to blow off our responsibilities, rather a warning not to  manipulate things for our benefit. Even if it looks like everything is falling apart. He’s still God.
